Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped white onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. 2. Stir in the minced garlic and minced serrano chiles, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute. 3. Add the long-grain white rice to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until the rice begins to turn golden, about 5 minutes. 4. Pour in the vegetable broth, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Stir in salt, ground cumin, apple cider vinegar, paprika, chili powder, garlic granules, and onion salt. 5.
